In 1993, Leila Hadley Luce and Milbry Polk founded Wings Trust, Inc. to preserve accomplishments of women explorers and help promote today's women's explorations in all fields of study. Their vision and work set examples and standards to which all, women, men and children, may aspire. Wings WorldQuest, Inc. was created in 2003 to expand the mission of Wings Trust -- to identify, to research, to promote, and to celebrate the contributions of extraordinary women explorers, in all areas/fields of study, around the world, from all periods of history.
